Booking Conditions

1.     TOURS INCLUSIONS

  • Twin share villa accommodation.
  • All continental breakfasts. Most lunches and dinners, as outlined in the respective itinerary. (wine included)
  • All transfers to/from on arrival and departure days.
  • Bi-Lingual Hosts for the duration of your tour
  • Day tours to itinerary locations; maps included.
  • Wine tasting at selected vineyards/establishments
  • All travel to and from tour locations as detailed on itinerary; all activities detailed on itinerary.

2.     TOUR EXCLUSIONS

  • Airfares
  • Airport taxes
  • Travel insurance, however, please note that travellers on Travel Puglia tours must have comprehensive travel insurance. We will require evidence including policy number and insurer’s name.
  • Entry fees to museums/galleries and other places wherever entry fees apply.
  • All lunches and meals not specifically outlined in the respective itinerary.
  • All personal expenditure.

3.     EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS

Travel Puglia requires emergency contact details during your travel with us. This information should be provided upon confirmation of your booking.

4.     ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES

All tours are based on a Saturday to Saturday stay.
Check IN: 4.00 pm Saturday – Earlier check-in is not available
Check OUT: 10.00 am Saturday – Later check-out is not available

5.     TOUR GROUPS

Our tour groups have been designed for a group of no more than 12 people per week to ensure that your needs and enjoyment is always our top priority.
Tours and tariffs are subject to change.

6.     PRICES, DEPOSITS, AND PAYMENTS

Prices shown are per person, double occupancy. A single supplement of $450 will apply to single occupancy.
The deposit is 25% of the overall tour price (unless noted otherwise in specific tour offers or special offers) is required at time a booking is confirmed. Bookings will not be reserved and confirmed until the prescribed deposit is received.
Balance of the payment will be as outlined on the booking confirmation and invoice.

If booking is made within 56 days of the departure date the full tour package amount is payable at the time of booking, unless specifically agreed otherwise, in writing.

Deposits and balance of payments can be made via the following forms:

  • Paypal: Refer to Portal on Web site
  • Credit Card: Refer to Portal on Web site
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Bank Wire Electronic Transfer

EFT and Bank Wiring instructions will be outlined on the invoice.

All bank fees and charges for wire transfers shall be paid by the client/agent.

All credit card payments will incur a 2.5% surcharge.

Upon receipt of the deposit amount, Travel Puglia will provide an updated invoice detailing the payment received and future amounts due and their respective due dates.

Should the final payment fail to reach us by the date specified on your invoice, Travel Puglia reserve the right to cancel the booking. Normal cancellation fees shall apply.

7.     CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

All tours, travel arrangements, accommodation and other associated provisions are secured upon the receipt of the Booking Confirmation form and payment of the deposit amount.

The amount charged for tour packages is inclusive of all associated tour disbursement costs, overheads, ground staff costs, advertising, and administration costs.

In the event of the cancellation of a tour, a cancellation fee will apply.

The applicable cancellation fee and the non-refundable amounts shall be as follows:

40% of the total Tour Cost.

Within 60 days but more than 30 days of the tour commencement date

 

60% of the total Tour Cost.

Within 30 days of the tour commencement date

 

100% of the total Tour Cost.

The cancellation date shall be deemed to be the date of receipt of written confirmation of the cancellation.

Where tours have been booked and paid through a third party such as a travel agent or travel manager and such commissions have been paid to a third party, the amount of commission paid shall be deducted from any refundable amount.

The amount of refund will the amount paid less the applicable cancellation fee.

No refund will be paid should you fail to join a tour for any reason. Failure to join the tour shall be deemed to be a tour cancellation within 30 days of the tour start date.

No refund amount will be paid should you leave a tour after it has commenced for any reason.

Refunds are not paid for non-medical personal problems, air carrier delays or cancellations, inability to obtain passports, business problems or emergencies etc.

If you leave a tour for any reason after it has commenced we are not obliged to provide a refund for unused services such as meals and the like, if you fail to join a tour or join it after its departure or leave it prior to its completion a refund will not be paid.

In the unlikely event that Travel Puglia cancel the tour, except for reasons stated in the exception clause below, you would be entitled to a 100% refund within 4 weeks of the tour cancellation date.

Exception: In the event the tour cannot proceed and is cancelled by Travel Puglia due to Government actions, or any other non Travel Puglia business cause, including but not limited to acts of God, acts of terrorism, war, strikes, quarantine or other causes beyond Travel Puglia control, you would be entitled to a transferable travel credit equal to the full amount paid up to the date of cancellation. Such a credit would be transferrable to any party you wish to nominate and will be valid for 12 months from date of cancellation.

8.     INSURANCE

It is strongly recommended you purchase travel insurance to cover all costs to you associated with cancellation coverage, airline tickets, trip delay, lost luggage, any potential medical expenses and all other losses and damages you may incur in your travels.

9.     LUGGAGE

Generally we can accommodate on all transfers, pick up and drop off, one suitcase and one carry-on bag per person. If you exceed this limit there may not be space in the vehicle to transport your excess luggage. There may be additional cost to have dedicated transportation for you and your additional luggage.

Should you be intending to travel with additional luggage, you are required to notify Travel Puglia on the extent of additional luggage not less than 7 days prior to your date of arrival to enable suitable transportation to be arranged.

We recommend you bring a day pack for days tours to carry water, guide-books, jacket, rain gear, etc.

10.   LEVEL OF FITNESS

Most medieval towns were built as hilltop fortifications and many streets are cobblestoned, some with inclines.

Although our tours are leisurely paced there is a certain amount of walking involved daily. Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Age is not important as long as you are physically fit. Our tours are not suited for anyone who has serious problems with knees, back or heart.

11.  SINGLE TRAVELLERS

All tours accommodate both single and couple travellers.

Single travellers are welcome and would be accommodated in a dedicated (Non-Shared) apartment.

The additional single supplement cost will apply.

12.   PRICES

Our tours and dates, as listed in our web site, are guaranteed once a booking is confirmed. Your additional expenses will be for non-included meals, moderate tipping where appropriate, and personal sightseeing or shopping. 

13.   LIMIT OF LIABILITY

No responsibility and liability is accepted by Travel Puglia for any incurred loss, expense, accident, injury or damage to any person or property due to the actions or omissions of any person, or any cause, including but not limited to acts of God, acts of terrorism, war, strikes, defects in machinery, breakdown of equipment, weather, quarantine, negligence, loss of baggage, or other causes beyond Tours of Tuscany  control, such losses shall the responsibility of the guest.

14.   MEMBERSHIP ON TOUR

Travel Puglia reserves the right to accept, reject, or not retain any person as a tour participant whose condition or general deportment impedes the operation of the tour or, in the opinion of the tour manager, affects the rights and enjoyment of other guests. A guest not retained on tour shall have no cause for complaint or refund and shall bear any, and all extra expenses that ensue.

15.   TOUR CHANGES

All information on this website is, to the best of our knowledge, correct. However, we reserve the right to make changes in accommodations, visits, and itineraries at any time should it become necessary or desirable. Delays or itinerary changes caused by strikes, bad weather, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances are beyond our control and we are not obliged to pay guests compensation.
